What most of you are not aware of, I have previously published two collections of poetry and have two more in the works (early stages). In addition, I have recently begun my first novel.

At this time, I would like to find a fitting name for my business. So far, a few ideas have come up:
*Lavender Press

*Press de Tournesol/Sunflower Press
–
*Corbières (something) Press or (something) Corbières Press
–
The Corbières is the heart of the wine region where I live and where my heart found a home. Did I mention I love our local red wines? If you follow Found in France, or visit, you will have seen a number of posts from this region with photos. It should reflect the area, the work or both. The selected name will relate to the work I do and my love of France and/or my location.

While I have no prize to offer at this time, my dear friend Christine reminds me, “if people only want to offer suggestions if there is a prize then I say those offerings aren’t worthy!” It will earn my gratitude and mention on the blogs and can include the link to your own blog.

Léa, I’d like to see your two collections of poetry before suggesting a title for your press. I’ve searched and searched your website, but can’t find a mention of them. Are they available? Would you send me a link please?
I like the Coeur de Corbières idea from Cynthia and agree that it goes well with your work. But I’d so like to see your poetry collections. ❤
I have a few left of the first book and two copies of it are/were at Shakespeare and Company and also one copy in The California State Library. The second, I only have it in pdf format. I sold them locally in California. I never had the time to take them further. 🙂

It’s interesting to read about your plan, to build a brand. I don’t want to make a suggestion, but a push to your mind:
I build my nic for a similar idea. It’s a representation of me, so it should be related to me in one or another idea. I built it from pieces
sol is the name of our sun in latin. The sun is the name giving place in several SF ‘worlds’. So we’re from Sol 3. The remaining part describes an inhabitant from a certain place (Amerika -> Amerikaner; Mexiko -> Mexikaner; you got the idea)
On the other hand, the sun is the source of light and light is the source of photography. These are the paths leading to my ‘brand’.
Maybe, you can now see a connection between parts of you past, origin, present and maybe even future to build your personal brand. Being a woman, an expat, a wanderer, a traveler, a searcher or even a finder. That is, what a person is made of (the inner-me) and the root for building something very personal.
I’m still in favour of Cynthia’s “Coeur de Corbières” – but thinking on’t 🙂
